Hosted by the Church of the Nazarene, Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) is a powerful youth event that has been held in different locations over the past six decades.  NYC takes place every few years and provides an opportunity for high school students from the USA and Canada to be united in a time of worship, teaching, and community service.

Students participate in sessions featuring powerful worship, engaging speakers, creative arts, and attend nightly live concerts featuring top Christian artists.  They serve together with the Ministry with Others service projects throughout Salt Lake City.  Students also experience interactive discipleship environments, and a Recreation Hall filled with individual and group activities, games and exhibits.

The MAD NYC team spent March 1-4 in Salt Lake City, visioning, planning, and praying over NYC 2026 with leaders from the Eastern Field, as well as all over the USA and Canada.  Join us every night at 8:26pm to pause and pray as we dive deep into the Wonder of God.

God is bigger than we can imagine.  Think about the mountains and valleys, the oceans, the sky the entire universe - then go bigger, and you still haven't reached God-sized. Let's remember who we are and who we belong to and lose ourselves not in the world, but in the wonder of God.

Our first fundraiser was a Mother's Day Bake Sale. The choices were delicious! Here's what we had to choose from:                    Mississippi Mud Pie, Strawberry Cobler, Lemon Tart

The money they earned was $470.00

This is the second fundraiser for NYC 26.  It was on June 14th at 10-1pm in the front parking lot here at the church.  Thank you for coming out and supporting our youth.  The car wash earned $750!

This is an ongoing fundraiser. Do you have a task that you struggle to find time to get done? A job form is available at the back of the church for you to fill out. Completing it will help you accomplish some tasks and contribute supporting our children.

For middle school and high school students, God is working wonders in your age group. DCOTN Youth offers teachings and prayers that resonate with the spirit of today's youth. Our mission is to equip teenagers for their future and guide them towards everything God envisions for them. We are cultivating disciples of Christ who embody the courage and strength of Jonathan and David (1 Samuel 14), with a focus on nurturing genuine followers of Christ. We invite you to join our Youth group gatherings for a sense of community and an engagement with truth. Anticipate candid discussions on issues that are relevant to us all. Youth Group meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Our lesson time is from 6:30-7:15pm and then we socialize and play games from 7:15-8:00pm in the gym.

This year, there will be separate study groups for 6th-8th graders and 10th-12th graders, who will then come together for game time. Last year, we began meeting with other local youth groups on the final Wednesday of each month, a tradition set to continue. The upcoming gatherings can be found on our calendar.

In addition to our weekly time together, we also have monthly events like Bowling, Ice Skating, Amusement Parks, Lazer tag, Trampoline Parks and so much more.  We would love for you to join us. 

Our goal is to learn more about God, Ourselves and Each Other.

The Youth Group kicked off the new school year (2024/2025) with a pizza party, boasting an attendance of over 33 members, marking a great beginning! The group welcomes students from 6th to 12th grade. 

Part of Youth Group is monthly events like bowling, fall outings may include going to a harvest event at a local nursery.

Every month, several Youth Groups in the area come together for a joint meeting.
